This Is Only the Beginning is a two tape demo by the Finnish band HIM, released in 1995. This album was only released in Finland. In the official HIM biography - Synnin Viem, Ville Valo says that he plays bass, drums and sings, whilst Mikko Lindstrm plays guitars. The Wicked Game cover ensured a contract with BMG Finland, claims Valo in Synnin Viemää.
